Counselling for children and teens – seven years and above

Lee is a registered counsellor who has over 30 years’ experience working with children and their families in childcare, education and support settings. Lee’s experience has allowed her to develop skills across many domains that has resulted in her ability to support the child, in a wholistic way.

Lee understands the importance of developing trust with the child as well as their family. She advocates the need for a child to feel confident and safe to enable them to flourish in all areas of their life. Lee has a wonderful capacity to assist a child to identify their personal strengths and to draw confidence from those areas that can flow into all parts of their lives.

Throughout her 30 years, Lee has worked with children with a range of learning disorders including ADHD, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disorders and Physical Disabilities. She has also worked with children requiring support due to trauma, anxiety, depression, sensory and regulation issues. Lee also has experience working as a contractor for adults through NDIS.

Lee is offering counselling for children and teens using a combination of approaches including CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), PCT (Person Centered Therapy), The Mindfulness Approach and The Humanistic Approach to better assist with:
